Movement and appropriate physical activity is essential for our children’s gross and fine motor development. Students receive 45 minute sessions of PE twice a week and swim sessions once a week. Sessions focus on body image, motor coordination, muscular and cardiovascular fitness and healthy behavior as well as rules of conduct for group sports.
Our #1 concern for students is their safety. Injuries occur when children twist their ankles or trip because they are not wearing the right shoes for exercise and play. Only students who are wearing proper athletic shoes will be permitted to participate in PE Activities.
